Repowdercoated R1 Factory Strut Bar

Everyone,

Just recently repowdercoated my R1 strut bar. The new color is slightly darker than stock and has more metallic, which complements CYM much better than the stock R1 color that has an "orange" tinge to it in direct sunlight.

Here's the stock bar color:

...and my NEW color . Tell me what you think?

Looks good! I like it. Yellow would have looked cool too.

I powder coated mine blue a few years ago.

I like the new red. Are the strut bar ends polished or chromed? If it's polished won't it rust, since it's made of steel?

Thanks guys. I guess that I just like the contrast. The factory color was RED, so I was looking for some variation on the stock red. It also ties in well with my red brake calipers and a few red accents in the interior.

Thanks! Yes, strut bar ends and mounting hardware are chrome plated.

Where can I find the nuts and bolts for the mounting brackets? Had mine PC'd flat black.

I like that a lot. No orange now and a better match. Bring that think to Deals Gap in April. Best event ever

Looks excellent. Does anybody have any idea how much new hardware is? I have one that needs to be refurbished and the hardware that came with it is home depot junk.
