OEM wheels options from 96+ models?

I autocross my car a little bit, I have 1993-95 OEM wheels. My 225 tires are killing me. I prefer OEM and I like the look of some other OEM FD wheels I've seen but I'm not sure if any are available, affordable or worth looking into based on offset and max tire width. I'm talking about wheels from outside the US market on later model FDs. Are there any wider 16" wheels available? I think they were all 17". Looking for specific tire sizes on later model FD wheels.

Look at rx7boutique.com. I have seen that they advertise the spirit r wheels there, I do believe they are 17'' as well.

AFAIK all 16 inchers are 8 inches wide.

I have a nice set of 17 inch '99 spec wheels wrapped in 245/40 and 255/40 Star Specs if you're interested. Tons o Grip to be had, I can tell you that

FWIW, you can easily run 245-45's on the 8" wheel, and it keeps the speedometer the same. Several choices of tires in 'R' compound in that size, but if you're running PAX your choices for a street tire will be limited.

Thanks Jim, keeping the stock wheels would be ideal. I'm a little concerned about my stock wheels cracking. I do have the early ones made in 92 that are ultralight and I guess there was some trouble with them early on.

The bathurst wheels sound interesting especially if they're 16" x 8.5" wide. That is really what I'm looking for, a little extra width. Probably difficult to come by though.
