Repolished UIM, TB, Elbow

Repolished UIM, TB, Elbow
I took these off for inspection and cleaning since I'm getting ready for my 2nd attempt at having the car tuned in a few weeks. Replaced the silicone lines again and ziptied them. Made sure block off plates were tight and sealed and basically that everything was solid. Cut some more stuff off the uim I didn't need (see if anyone knows what's missing)...I had already polished them about 5 months ago but I wasn't careful when I installed them so it had to be redone. Here's how it turned out:

thanks buddy!
Also, I wanted to mention that if anyone wants to donate a O-ring that goes between the tb and elbow I'm all for it. I just bought a new one about 1000 miles ago! but it came out when I took the stuff apart and because it absorbed oil it no longer fits back into there!!
If anyone has an extra I'd appreciate it.
What a junk part.

I always knew my UIM/TB/Intake looked like ***, and you just proved me right. On that level I hate you, but the awsome job you did on yours totally redeemed you at the same time.

I mean you should understand that its very hard to take pictures of polished parts and have it look exactly like in person.
Post up your manifold pics, lets see how its done because I want mine to be perfect as well!

Everytime I see your polishing work I'm in ah of how nice it looks. Such clean shaves and a perfect mirror shine everytime.
I myself tried to polish my UIM and failed miserably . Now I'll have to send it off somewhere to have it professionally done.

I'm pretty sure I remember reading SurgeMonster's various polishing tips that are out there on this forum. In the end I still wasn't able to pull it off.

jesus man, they look chromed. i wonder if putting some rattle can clear on them would help them keep that shine. or you could just keep them wd40'd. seriously, did you chrome them?
