Replacing stock gauges????
I wanted to know if anyone has replaced the stock oil pressure and water temp gauges IN the cluster. I am not talking about putting gauges in a gauge pod, but replacing the ones in the cluster?
If anyone has done this please show a pic if you have one and let me know what gauges and adapters you used.
Someone said that they though you could do it with Autometer gauges but I would like to know fore sure before I spend the money.
Thanks!
BTW, it is a 93 FD.

one of the guys who did the a/c relocation mod also replaced the oil pressure gauge with an aftermarket one and mounted it in the stock location...i'm almost certain he did anyways (going from memory)

I did it and documented the AutoMeter swap... http://rx-7.lividandgifted.com/tech-current.html -- Sorry but I haven't finished the write up just yet but all the information you should need is there.
