replaced o rings on injectors and now car wont idle

car will barely idle at 450-500 RPMs but if i hold the peddle down a little at around 800-850 rpmn i have good vac. and it sounds smooth. my PFC is set at 850 but the car doesnt respond to it. i even changed the PFC to 1300 rpm at idle and the rpms didnt do anything just stayed at 450-500. is there something that may be disconnected?

Check your idle air bleed screw.

well actually if i start removing vac lines the idle gets better so not sure if thats the case but i will still try and also i'll do a pressure test. could it be a clip or something that maybe came off or broke?

i replaced the rings that go around the injectors, the ones that sit down inside the motor i left in place. but why wont the PFC control the idle at all, i mean if i adjust the fower fc idle to like 1500 RPM shouldnt it go up at least a little?

did you plug the Idle Speed Controller back in? It's on the back of the UIM.

i didnt take anything off of the UIM i just rotated it up and left everything where it was, but guess it could have come undone from stretching. i'll check that but if it's not is there anything else. i'm asking because i dont have a computer at home so i need as much info as possible so i can check everything. i wont be able to check back here until tom. when i get to work

sounds like TPS even though you didn't touch it or else....low compression? Anyways, I guess check all hoses and connectors are connected. Good luck!

Actually, here's the funny thing about that...and this may only be a total fluke in my case. I didn't have the TPS connected and it ran fine. I think the idle hunted just a little, but it still ran.

If you have the ISC still in, the bleed screw won't do all that much (unless it's not working). You have to purposely turn that. I've never seen one anywhere that was inadvertantly (sp) turned.

Mine started to do the same thing, so I just pulled it out.
