Replacement heater for track use
I have an -93 FD which I'm building for track-use only (drifting) and part of the regulations is to have some sort of cabin heater still intact (doesn't have to be original).
Summit Racing has a nice box available that a friend suggested, anyone else have experience with this? Any other suggestions on what I might do?

Is it possible to somehow modify the original one and make it smaller, my issue at the moment is the size of the whole fan/A/C rig and it doesn't fit after installation of my roll cage.
The IC has previously been removed, but I guess some of the parts was still inside the vehicle. Is it possible to modify this and make it a better fit?

12V hairdryers are popular over here - can be useful in demisting duty as well, in conjunction with the appropriate size flex.
