1) K&N filters are LIFETIME filters! You just clean them and re-oil them every 15k miles. You can buy the oil from an auto parts store or K&N.

2) Since you were under the impression you needed new filters, wouldn't common sense dictate that you could get the filters from Pettit, since it's a Pettit intake????

My top filter needed to be replaced. I got it from Pettit. I think it was around $30.

If you need a replacement take the filter to your local parts store and they can look up what filter you need in the parts book from K&N. Should be cheaper than Pettit

yes, I know you can clean them, my filters are bent up and one has a hole, I bought it without seeing it first.
I did use common sense and checked out pettits website for the filters and all I could find was the whole intake. If you are trying to help there is no need to be a wise ***. WTF???

Ever try picking up the phone? I really don't understand why young people think the internet is the only way to get information......

Yes, the K&N filters are just universal filters. If you measure the filters, you should be able to figure out the filter model you need from a K&N catalog or someone at K&N. I'm guessing Pettit won't feel like giving out that information.

EDIT: Hmmm...that's funny. My firewall just intercepted a port scan attack from a computer in St. Louis and you just happen to be located in St. Louis. Hmm.....

Yep,
I've got the N-Tech and it uses the same universal sized K&N's. You get them from Summit, AutoZone, etc, etc....

Rynberg....interesting! What firewall you got? I've got the Zone Alarm and it is very useful for such unwanted intrusions!

McAfee software firewall 4 (comes with full version of Viruscan 7). Cheap and very effective. Works a hell of a lot better than the POS hardware firewall we have at work....

sorry man, I have no idea what a port scan attack is. It wasnt me. Im not all that pissed I just didnt understand why someone would be rude for asking a question, That is what this site is for (an easy way to obtain information) It was easier than picking up the phone and calling long distance$.

I was originally looking for a quick link to the filters I need it was worth a shot. damn.
