Replaced IAT but still got Code 11

When my mechanic told me I had a code 11, I replaced the Intake Air Thermosensor. But I still have a code 11. Now my mechanic thinks I need to replace the wiring that plugs into the thermosensor, which means I need to replace the whole wiring harness.

Does anybody have other suggestions that may fix this problem without having to replace the whole harness?

um yeah splice in a new connector that goes onto the intake sensor.....

is it causing your car to run lean or poorly?

It's a pretty important sensor

Idle gets a little rough, but other than that it seems ok.

Did you disconnect the battery and reset the computer? That code is saved in memory.

ECU was reset. Still got code 11. That's why my mechanic suspects the wiring.
