Replace oil injectors?

FSM says you should be able to blow air through the injector in one direction only. Does this infer it should hold vacuum the other direction? It is very difficult to blow through mine in that direction, but it certainly does not hold a vacuum.

As both of mine behave identically, I'm inclined to think that they're ok?

If anyone cares to chime in with a primer on specifics of how these operate, that would be helpful too!

Edit: Hey, how 'bout if I search and post a link if I find one... (save Mahjik the trouble)

anybody?

Sorry to bump but when you post in the middle of the night it is almost off the front page by the time half of us read this forum.

I just need to know whether or not to order up a couple new injectors. Thanks!

You should be OK
Some of us are still arguing about the operation of those little things.
There is a video link that shows the internal operation of these things courtesy of Wargasm that I think shows explicitly how the thing works and operates if you have ever wondered.
