removing ppf?

ok, trying to get the ppf off. I've gotten the 4 bolts in the front, 5 bolts in the rear, and the rear tunnel reinforcement off and it still sits there as sturdy as can be. What else else is needing to be done? thanks.

i never did this task yet but i would imagine just tapping it at different places to get it off..im assuming this is the original and after all those years, it will be like its stuck on there..

just pull on it, it kinda wraps around the drive shaft, thats about all that can be holding it..

shift the diff around. The it needs to get taken ut evenly in the front and the rear so you have no problem with the drive shaft.

Use a small jack and put it under the differential (the end where the driveshaft comes out) and raise it just a bit higher than where it originally sits. Make sure you are either holding the PPF or you left a nut on each end, othewise it will come down hard, right on your head.

Do you have the diff and transmission supported? The PPF may be binding on the studs so shift the supports around a little and it should come loose.
