Removing Fuel rail problems

I am trying to take off the fuel rails so that I can replace some fuel hoses and there is metal vacuum nipples in the way. It is on the front where the fuel line that connects the two rails goes?

When you post there is a box with manage attachemnts. add the pics there.

I know the area you mean. the boost solinoids are easy to remove. If you are lucky then the pipes will have gone hard and you can just ease the whole lot off.

There is a banjo bolt on the secondary rail behind them which requires you to ease them forward to get on it.

There is 4 4mm pipes that go from the metal pipes to the solinoids. One in the bottom of each and one in the side of each. I sprayed wd 40 ( penetrating oil ) on the pipes where they attach to the metal pipes. they run down to the wastegate etc. Be very careful but then twist each pipe a little ( back and forth ) with long nose pliers. I hope you have spare 4mm hose coz they will prob break.

You can then remove them. take a pic and mark them up to make the re fit easy

I got a friend to pull them forward a little so i could get on to the banjo bolt. Is this what you mean.
I dont recall removing an bolts from them so they should have a little play in them

When I removed the primary and secondary rails, all I had to do was pull the fuel rails foward a bit and they slid underneath those vacuum lines. Good luck.

On the recall kit what do I do with the copper gaskets? 3 rubber gaskets and the oil/vacuum lines? And the curved fuel line?
