a product called 'Aircraft Stripper' will do wonders.

This paint IS a bitch to get off. I have the Tri-Point unit and it has a baked on enamel or powder coating....and it took me a couple of hours to using an industrial sand blaster to get the stuff off. In hindsight I wish I'd have used Aircraft Stripper, as it will flat DISSOLVE the toughest of paints like polyurethane enamels. You can get this at most automotive stores.

I agree, use a paint stripper and it will just peel right off.

awesome. Ya I almost have it off just from peeling it but on the beads and the top it's just not working out. I'll get some of that stuff tomorrow, thanks

It's a powdercoated piece, use sandpaper to get the coating off the bead/welds.

I can tell you from personal experience, that will take a long time and be not nearly as successful as using a paint stripper.
