Removal of Center air vent.....

How do you remove the center air vent (the one just above the hvac controls)? Do you have to remove the center channel to get at the top screw? Any suggestions would be helpful.

You have to remove the instrument cluster, so tht you can get the 2 screw on the inner (Left) side of the center pannel. Once that has been done you will then use a stubby phillips screw driver. And that is it.

I just did it today. You have to take the instrument cluster out then pull the hvac panel out. After that you can reach the bottom screw. You have to use a stubby and its screwed on there very tightly. The top screw I took out the center channel and you can get access to the top screw. Again very hard to unscrew. Good luck.
