reman, what does it come with.

I've been looking for an fd. I really wanted to buy a broken one and have a new street ported engine in it. but they are so hard to find. and I'm taking 17 hours in my first year of college and I have a job. so I can't have a car to work on, but i've been finding alot a fd's with less than 10k on a reman. lots of people say a reman isn't very good, is that true? I want the car to be reliable. have in mind i'll do all the rely mods. and if i had the reman how much boost could it take? its going to a daily driver so never over 20 psi, but i would like to have it set at a moderate 10 psi, is that safe?

eventually it will be a single, so a rebuild would be better?

rebuild is always better, from a good builder. People seem to be happy with pineapples engine builds, also don marvel is great at building also

how much money r u planning on spending? You know to go single turbo you cant just throw a big turbo on there u gots to do lots of other stuff. And yes a FD can be reliable ( still havent had any MAJOR problems with mine, crossing my fingers ) But some people have bad luck with them. It always good to have a back up car, just in case. But yea I would recomend a rebuild over a reman. Oh and if you dont plan on installing most all of your own parts thats big $$$. Some of the **** I have done to my car will take it outa commision for a long weekend, but im kinda slow
