relocating radiator.

I have been looking to disperse all the heat that the radiator dumps under the hood making the intercooler crazy hott. I was looking at the guys who have the V mount intercoolers and i like the idea of laying the radiator down so that the fans pull the air from the engine bay to the floor. I would like to know if you guys just reverse the fans to the opposite side of the radiator when tilting it to the engine or do you just flip the radiator? also how are you guys plumbing the coolant hoses and is this a good idea even if i am still using my stock intercooler for now?
