Reliability mods or no mods??

Guys,

Need your opinions on upgrading the parts for reliability or keep it all oem?
I searched and found mods for reliability...but is it really necessary?? The car mainly sits in the garage.

What parts should i upgrade that is restrictive to the oem parts? How is the stock radiator and intercooler and intake? Also, what parts can I modify without needing to modify the ecu and have the car safe without issues.

This is my first rotary BTW. Please tell me what I need to know.

Thanks

Gary

You should really read the sticky at the top of the thread. As far as keeping it stock, you can get away with it. Just about every member on this forum will tell you to replace the downpipe. I highly suggest that mod. Most will also suggest the aluminum air seperator tank (AST).

If I had it to do again I would have my downpipe wrapped or heat coated.

Have it set in your mind that you won't go crazy on mods because the power gets addicting.

That's funny, because now I'd skip the wrap.

Haven't tried the coatings.
