Recommendations for car parts for my 1992 fd

I need help with picking out what aftermarket parts are the best and most reliable. My main goal is to make it run good and look good. What are some really key and important parts to the engine that should be replaced. The engine is basically bone stock except for an intake. I dont know if this makes much of a difference but it is a right hand drive. Any ideas or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

dont be a douche lol hahaha

what ever route u go with, just remember, dont cheap out, if u get a part and u know its a cheap-o part, it will only end up costing u more if not DOUBLE to repair and then get the good stuff, if u cant afford it, wait, and get the good stuff when u can, research on the boards and see what other guys are running in the FDs. when i first started my first mods were all cooling mods ( fans, bigger rad, ast delete, vented hood ect ect )

GOOD LUCK with ur FD, i wish u the best

BTW 92 FDs are very rare from what i know

Thats really vague. I hope you have some cash on you. How does the old saying go?

Performace, reliability and money in your pocket, pick 2...

Actually the rx7 version is more like...

Performace, reliability and money in your pocket, pick 2... no just kidding. You don't get to have any money no matter what you pick.

Before you do anything, get make goals very clear. Then read alot. I would definitely recommend AI as a starting point. People will tell you otherwise but it fixes alot of the fds weaknesses. Also remember, there are many old parts on the car that are probably on its way out no matter what mods you perform so until you go through everything, its all a crapshoot anyway.

SS clutch and brake lines might be a nice upgrade along with the info David provided you. He hooked you up.

Okay on a positive note follow the reliability list and you should be fine. Keep this in mind. the FD is almost 20 years old and with any vehicle of this age the number thing you want to do is change out all the fluids first. I mean every fluid that can be flushed out and replaced should be done.

Heat has always been our greatest issue so investing in a good radiator is one of my favorite recommendations. good luck
