recommend fuel pump

What's the best option for a fuel pump for around 400whp? Want the minimum amount of modification. Keep seeing the hellcat and gst450 mentioned, any other good choices?

Walbro 450 is your best bet in our experience. We have a complete kit to ease installation. You could do the hellcat pump but it is overkill for that power level and pulls more amps. https://www.irperformance.com/produc...-pump-adapter/

The aem 340 I'm using seems to be holding up pretty well. Aggressively simple install with the factory hanger. I'm in that "around 400" range.

What's the amperage difference between the 450 and the hellcat? Is it significant? I'm running the Hellcat pump (with your adapter) and it's doing quite well. I don't hear it at all.

Bosch 044 fuel pump is what is used on my car at 400 +rwhp. Many reliable rotaries built in my area use this fuel pump. It is a bit noisy though

Over the years (since June 1992), I have used a few pumps, and they all had the same flaw. Because my FD was a dayly driver, the mechanical aluminum vanes would wear and after about 4 years the pressure would drop.
The Aeromotive stealth pump uses a turbine compressor and does not wear out!

Fuel pump product number

Hey everyone

Anyone know if there is a difference between the Aeromotive stealth pumps with product number 11540 vs 11541?
both come up in the description when I google it however 11541 seems to be the favourite.

Car is a FD model

Thanks
Cheers

The Walbros 400/450/525 are all turbine style.
