Rebuilt Motor or Stock Motor?

Hi guys...im new to this

I have an interesting question to ask of u guys...

If you were in the process of buying an RX-7...would u buy one with a new motor (the old motor blew) or would u buy the RX-7 with the stock motor....

i guessin that if you buy an RX-7 that still has the stock motor...it is going to blow soon?...so your going to have to replace it anyways. but then...you dont know how the new motor was put in...so what would you DO?

you dont know anything by just hearing it or looking at it...go take it to a mazda shop and have them check the compression...if the compression is ok then you dont need to worry as much....

the only thing you really have to worry about is whether or not the thing has been overheated...if the compression is good.

either way...there is no way of knowing all. get the one in the best shape...period.

drive it...you will know....but you MUST get the compression checked.

FYI, I had good compression (mid 8s across the board) when I had my 80k car checked...84k and one year later, coolant seals gone. CRC Block Weld owns me
