I traded it for the Rx7, the supra was a salvage title and i didnt feel like wasting anymore money on a car i couldnt get the money out of, you know???

Are you sure that's a '93? I thought only the '94's and up came with clear-coated wheels with black plastic inserts.

Yeah, it is a 93 r1. The paint was wearing of the inserts. they were silver.

The paint chips off no matter what year the car is. On the earlier models, like mine, they are made from white plastic. So when the paint chips off they are a dull white instead of black. My car was made in '92, so maybe the later '93's got the good wheels as well as the '94's and up.

It's hard to tell, but the paint is chipped away and my caps are dull white.
