It bolts to the rear of the A/C-PS pump bracket; the wiring harness attaches to it, as well as a ground at the bottom.

On every build we throw those in the trash. Not a fan of them, we feel they serve no real purpose. You can attach the ground to the bottom bolt on the front iron.

Up to you really, it cleans things up a bit without it and also makes for more room when changing plugs, installing a catchcan, routing wires/lines etc.

i feel the opposite way, it keeps the wiring harness from flapping around unless you really love zip tieing harnesses to things. rewrap it and retain the quick connects and it comes off and installs easily.

The electrical wiring harness on that side of the car doesn't move at all regardless of the bracket... I road race my personal FD and never saw the need to use zip ties. My old harness never moved, and my new harness that I bought from Mazda doesn't move. Likewise, the over one hundred customer cars that don't have the bracket have zero issues. *shrug* to each their own

My car has no PS or AC (like a few cars on the site hehe) - and I have still kept mine only because I was worried the harness would take more wear and tear from moving around. I dunno. I guess either way works

I ended up chucking it because the engine was already in and I had done exactly what Goodfella mentioned by mounting the ground to the bottom of the block on the iron.
