Rebuild Problems

I started putting my engine back together a few weeks ago, with the help of bill, and now I’ve starting to encounter some problems that I hope you guys can help me out with. First off, I cant figure out what goes into and out off the third brass fuel line that connects to the block… I know one of them goes to the primary fuel injectors and the other goes to the secondary injectors, but I cant figure out what the third one is for? I look in all the assembly instruction pictures and it really doesn’t go into detail on those things. Secondly, there are two holes on the LIM, behind the EGR valve, one of them faces the transition and the other faces out towards the passenger side. Both of them are to have something bolted up to them but I cant figure it out…? And the block off kit doesn’t have a pice to fit any of these two so they are nto to be blocked off. Also checked the manual on this and can;t see it. Thirdly, I got the whole set of block off plates and used them all but the one for the double throttle? Is this a good idea to take out? What are the pros and cons of it?

Thanks for any replies…

The hole that faces the transmision is for the air pump...it's a hard line that goes down to the main cat. The block off kit does not come with a piece to block it off. The other hole that faces towards the passenger side is the actual EGR valve hole. That should have come with the block off kit. Lastly you should just get rid of the double throttle if you have the block off plate for it. People will argue over the pros and cons all day long, It won't hurt anything to get rid of it. If anything you'll get a little better air flow. It mostly just unclutters the back side of the UIM.

You are a god amoungst men scrub... anway the one whole that you think is the egr valve, its not. I have the EGR blocked off. The one im talking about is further back towards the rear of the engine its right next to the whole for the air pump hardpipe. Now can i just leave the airpump hardpipe whole open? or do i have to connect it anyway? I already removed all the airpump equpitment.

Thanks for replying scrub hope your car is comming along all right.
