Rebuild Cost

Hey guys ive got a quick question. What is the general cost of a rebuild on a 93 single Turbo set up. Im talking just the replacement of the apex and corner seals basic dyno tune by well known shop. None of th bearings or other major components are being replaced. Just curious.

depends on the condition of the housings

for a quality rebuild, plan on about $2400, plus R&R labor and misc....it usually adds up to +$5k

a quality rebuild (and I favor the 3 mm seals) is well worth the money vs. a reman or rebuild "on the cheap"

Do the engine removal and reinstall yourself. Send the engine to Kevin at Rotary Resurrection and he can do it for about $1400.

$1400 is a bare minimum rebuild, it almost always adds up to more than that
