Question rebuild

Hey… need a little info on who, what and where to get a rebuild from. I would also like a list of mods to have done to it. I live in the San Francisco bay area so I need to worry about Smog but am hoping to get to the 10-11 seconds zone.

the best engine builder in cali is nick van nugteren at rotary reliability and racing. He has been building rotary racing motors for twenty years..used to race for mazda and holds speed records for his first gen (close to 200mph in a first gen). give him a call at 7148398018.

he built my motor as well as many other guys in the area...motors are his gift.

compare his prices as well...do the streetport too.

whatever you do..dont go with a mazda reman...three in five maz remans at his shop failed...he had to rebuild them himself so they would hold up.

jason

ps..do a search for mods for 10second cars....you will find some informative threads there...you are pushing it getting into the tens..not many guys get there...11s is possible though as dont be a rikki proved to us recently on a streetable car.

you should be happy with about 400hp Id think...my mods will put you close to that...but no where near the tens...11s once its finally tuned perfectly...depending on my driving.
