rear wiper removal
Is there a good solution to remove the rear windshield wiper? I hate it.
I guess the best option is to remove the wiper and get the hole filed then have the car painted. I am not that motivated. Perhaps when I get the car entirely repainted but not now.
Are the caps available for this purpose? Does anyone have a picture with a cap in place?
I guess I should remove the motor at the very least to save some weight. Will I throw lights on my dash If i remove it then cap the wires?
I wonder why 93s have them and the later models do not.

That's cool. Do you have a pic of it on the car? Who painted it match the car? The person selling the plug or you did?
I got this and they paint matched it to the montego blue color.

Deleting the rear wiper was easy. I ordered my rear wiper delete from eBay, some guy from Greece was making these and selling them on there. Anyways, all you do is use a big flathead and CAREFULLY pry the plastic on the underside of the hatch. Make sure to flip up the back cap on the wiper arm (where it attaches to the wiper motor) and it will expose a 10 or 12mm nut. Remove the nut, detach the wiper arm and then unbolt the motor inside of the plastic. Once the motor is removed just apply the delete plug. Easy peezy

I think they look like garbage and ruin the lines of the FD. My opinion, always has been. Luckily they're easily deleted
A little Rain-X on the back glass and you're good to go, I never once wished I had a rear wiper on my R1, and put over 100,000 miles on it including daily driving in all kinds of weather in my Army days.

I'll be taking it to the body shop to get it filled. Come to think of it, FD's are pretty rare here arleady and I don't think I've seen one with a rear wiper

RHD '93 R1 has one. Mine does at least, I've considered buying the plug since the only time the wiper moves is when my dog steps on the switch. Rain-x is all she needs.

The link I posted can paint the color you want for I believe $15. It takes a couple of extra days. The only thing is they have a dome, trapaziod, and flat shape and I asked for flat but was sent the dome. I ended up just using it.
And yes, the spoiler legs are a greener color than the montego blue. I couldn't find the exact color yet.
