Rear sway bar end links...made out of plastic?!

They look like they're made out of plastic. What gives? Is there metal on the inside at least?

If not, is there any sort of aftermarket ones that don't...well, suck?

Unless you track the car or run a big aftermarket bar, the stock end links are fine.
