Rear Suspension Arms

Im thinking about purchasing the "traction kit" from Ari at Rx7.com however, when searching for info it seems like most of the post are dated. Im wondering if this kit is still top notch, or if there are other offerings out now days that are superior for around the same cost. I know Ari's arms dont have a dust shield...but they do use nice rod ends.

Thx for the infos.

Car is a dedicated track car btw so spherical harshness is A-OK =)

I have that rear kit on my car. The solid links are nice and honestly, either my car is too loud or they didn't actually make any more noise because I didn't notice any change in sound.

The rear does feel more stable although I have yet to have the car properly alignment. Even with a bad alignment I could tell the rear was more solid.

The only thing that I can't figure out is what adjusting the rear trailing arms does and where I should set them. I made them the same length as my factory trailing arms but that wasn't an exact science and I'd still like to know how to measure that adjustment when aligning the car. I think it controls rear caster but I'm unsure how to measure it.

Two words..... ROTARY EXTREME. I bought their trailing arms and toe links. They are the nicest set i have seen. Offset trailing arms for wider rims along with dust covers too.

+1 on Rotary Extreme. If they don't have it, RX7.com would be my next choice. Dust covers do work.

I have the RX7.com trailing arms and toe links. The spherical bearings were worn after ~10k miles and my rear suspension started clunking. I replaced the all the bearing and purchased dust boots to keep the new bearings from wearing out so quickly.

I'd probably go with the Rotary Extreme if I had to replace my bearing again, since they come with dust seals.

What kind of dust boots did you get?

Hmm. Thanks for the info about the Rotary Extreme pieces.
I just checked out their website and it seems that they are out of business until further notice...

Their site says they are not accepting anything till the 1st quarter of 2014. I would shoot them a email.

Ok, looks like the Rod Ends were 5/8" so the RERS 3. I do recall that these did take some time to get installed since you have to stretch the boots over the rod ends.
