Rear Shocks for Touring
Rear Shocks for Touring
I believe its time to replace the rear shocks and I'm looking for a recommendation. I'd like something a little more middle of the road. Good performance and yet a good ride. I know that may be considered hieracy in an RX-7, but I'm almost 40 years old and the roads here in Kansas City are terrible. There's one patch of nice asphalt on my way to work and the rest is like riding on a jeep trail.
Any ideas on what shocks to use to keep the good performance of the RX-7 and yet not get my teeth loosened from the hard ride?
Thanks guys,

Stay with the stock shocks. My Tokico's ride harder even on soft. Not sure about Koni's. Stocks are the best for overall ride as far as I know. I'm getting ready to unload my 4 month old Tokico's and go back to stock. I don't need the harder ride. On the soft setting, Tokico's are wallowy over dips but very harsh over small stuff. My stock base shocks were the best for the ride. Touring and base models have the same shocks, R1\R2 are harder.
