i just takin my rear seats out. know it just looks odd. so am putting there rear seats back in. the seats are liturally weightless so i dnt think it will make a difference. plus it took me about 2 mins to unscrew the back rest and pull out the seats. i would keep the seats as the stop the rear sound comin into the cabin lol.

Yes, you can relocate the battery to the hatch. It has been done and the process is similar to the bins.

Honestly, I believe it comes down to preference. If you like the seats, role with them. If you don't, than go with the bins. I don't think you will be chastised either way.
