Changing fuel filter and line how much fuel line will I need and size?

I am changing the fuel filter and fuel lines out. I would like to know how much fuel line I will need and size? 5/16 for feed line and is there a 1/4" return line on the filter?

I have everything open right now. Im at the office right now. But, the hard line from the fuel pump assembly is 5/16. I will look at the rest of the lines when i get home. Give you correct info. I replumbed mine so the knowledge off the top of my head is not conducive to oem replacement :-P

Useful information:
with plenty of slack 4ft of stainless steel braided hose is more than long enough to go from the fuel pump assembly to where the hard fuel lines straighten out running under the car. that is IF you remove the fuel filter from that spot.

and just because this was one of my fav vids to make. I wrote this before - i hate the oem filter location.

I just flipped through the vid, i didnt realize it is about useless for seeing fuel lines. ill go make one on fuel lines for fun :-)

I hope not inside my garage :-P i have a heated garage. And that assumption is cheating, as 90% of the time its either cold or snowy in MI. And the car is torn apart. I did my fuel filter replacement with a smile because i looked at it and realized i dont have to put it back together.

Very nice! Wow am I going to have fun rdahm I think I might be having a leaning problem due to fuel filter it has never been replaced since i've owned the car. You and I have the same setup I am running 748/1688's injectors and at 6300RPM 10-14PSI my AFR is 12.4 no matter how much fuel I add.

I need to know the length of the fuel line since I am replacing it with E85 fuel line and it cost $17 a foot. I also need to know if there is two different sizes.

I wanted to give you an update. I decided to gut my hard line and run 5/16 ss braid line from the pump assembly to my engine bay. Its 10ft from assembly to where the hard lines end in the bay.

My flaring 5/16 to 6an scared me a little honestly. it was 60$ for a 25 ft roll of 5/16 braided.
