rear quarter marker lights

i bought this car from a guy that had it just sitting. it was fresh out of a paint shop and changed a few hands before ever getting the chance to be put back together and thus, many exterior parts were lost.

i think i have the majority of it now but im at a loss as to what i am missing now. i have the marker lights and purchased the bulb connector things thinking that they had a harness to plug in to these plugs in the car.

i was way wrong apparently...

can someone show me what goes to these plugs, and where do the marker lights plug in to?

Your car was a JDM, right? They have no rear side markers, just reflectors.

I'll check the plugs later for you, as my interior is gutted atm.

Hang on a second. My JDM FDs all have illuminated rear side markers from factory.
We bought them to Australia from Japan, and to my knowledge all JDM cars do have illuminated rear side markers ( the markers behind the rear wheels, on the side of the car)..

All the JDM ones I've seen have just reflectors (99% of FD's in the UK are JDM).

Had a look,

The 2nd one looks like the plug a rear light loom plugs into.

I have no plug the same as your first picture. I do have a different washer bottle & central brake light being a UK spec, though. So could potentially be related to either of those.

Today I realized I made a mistake. I should correct my earlier post.

Went into the garage last sunday and was helping Dad with his 92 JDM FD. Happened to remove the rear side marker light.

I'll be ^^&*$%ed. That car is factory stock and does not have any wiring for the rear side marker to illuminate. In addition, the side marker itself has no hole for a bulb to go into. It is blanked out. It is a reflector only....

This means that *some* FD's have illuminated rear side markers. *Some* do not. I do not know why... But I have JDM cars here with both options... So being JDM does not factor into it. Something else does.

I retract my previous statement.
