Re-tuned?

I was tuned with my current mods:
SMIC
PFC
To4e
Fuel pump
Injectors
exhaust
to name a few....

I have to get tested for emissions and need to add a high flow cat back to pass do I need to get retuned ?

Thanks,

No, you won't for emissions testing due to the fact they do not get into boost while testing. While in vac. your O2 is in closed loop so the computer is trying to keep you at 14.7-1. I would lean out your PM voltage on your commander to help air/fuel ratio's. btw unless you have an air pump, the cat by it self will not cut it regarding emissions. You need to put some methanol in your tank to help lean thngs out. Good Luck

Thanks for the quick response...
I have a corvette air pump but I do not think it is working. SHould I just put my old original cat on and put methanol in the tank and cross my fingers? Though, I have a feeling the cat is not working at all, since it has been sitting for such a long time. That way I thought was if I buy a high flow cat I should be good, but I guess not How much methanol should I put in the tank? Could methanol and a cat w/o an air pump pass emissions?

Thanks,

Thanks,

A cat without the air pump is a real crap shoot, with 33% methanol, new plugs your odds are maybe 50%

If not is there a certain mixture I should try for with the methanol/gas? I guess I should see if the air pump works first and then pray that the cat is not as far gone as I think, change the plugs and a quick oil change and see what happens.
