Re: Radiator Questions

OK, I did a search for "radiators" and "best radiators" but it didn't turn up much. Is there any consensus on the best radiators? It seems like most here like the Fluidyne. According to the RX-7 Store, the PWR is the same one as the Fluidyne. Anyone think something else of have some new information? Thanks again, as always!

The fluidyne seems to be the best fit, and very good quality too. It's not cheap.

I have the koyo...and it is nice and thick. The only problem is some slight fitment issues. The Fluidyne is the easiest to plug and play.

I just got my PFC installed and can see my engine temps but don't know what they where running before the koyo.

Also, I havn't met anyone who had both to compare the engine temp difference. The Fluidyne is more expensive than the koyo.

Bottom line...what can you afford...and either is most likely better than stock

The PWR and Fluidyne are identical. The polish on the PWR is nicer. The koyo has some fitment issues with the stock intercooler and intake. I have the koyo at the rx7store for $369.

Why are your shipping rates so outrageously insane? I was going to purchase something there but quickly changed my mind when I saw $50 shipping charge! I eventually got the same item some place else and shipping was only $12.

HKS downpipe. $199 (best price I found on the net) total after shipping and handling = $253

$217 from NOPI... total shipping and handling $230.

Don't worry HDP... they actually have to ship the product first to charge you, so you shouldn't have to worry

Yeah, but as I was completing the order it gave the total cost with shipping, then asked for cc#. That's when I canceled the order...

There was another place that this happened to me, AIM Industries (the "Low Rider Astro Van w/ Air Bag" days) They had the best prices, but the shipping costs were crazy!!!

I don't quite understand, but all posts that I read say that the Fluidyne and PWR are the same. But rx7trix.com states that the PWR is a 2 row radiator, and cools better than Fluidyne and Koyo!!! HELP!!

They probably have never seen the radiators side by side and made that up.
I have also talked with the guys and PWR which said they were the same.
