RAZO shift **** (japanese instructions) ...anybody have one?

It looks like the RX7 FC uses the #12 insert but doesn't say FD. Aren't the threads on the shifter 10x1.5? The whole page is Japanese and I can't tell if I neeed a spacer as well. It's wobly with the #10 and no insert.

I've had a number of Razo ***** in the past. The FD should use a 10mm bushing for the shift lever - it's a 10mm shaft.

Each **** has different methods for the adapter bushing to fit into the **** - some are held in with a screw, some you unscrew the top of the **** and insert the bushing there, etc.

The bushing should be tight enough that with it secured in the ****, you screw it down onto the shift lever and the threads on the lever will cut threads into the plastic bushing. This is one of the things I really like about the Razo ***** - makes for a nice, secure fit with no rattles and buzzes.

Push comes to shove, post up a pic of the parts and I'll help further.

Dale

Yeah, it's a screw top. I think maybe i'll try some spacers and see if that fixes the weeble wobble. You didn't have to use a spacer "dcfc3s"? Did you use the #10 or #10? On the instructions Mazda takes up two lines "12mm M12" and "10mm M10". I just didn't want to strip and ruin the plastic insterts.

The stock threads are 10 X 1.25mm.

I'm using the Razo on a short shifter:

Sweet, I didn't know they had an all black one. I almost bought the blue/carbon but decided on titanium/carbon look. I just didn't want to overtighten and strip the threads on the plastic insert. I can't tell how many turns to do. I placed the insert on the highest slot without a spacer so it would sit as low as possible (like Porsche) which is more comfortable to me. I'm going back to Autobacs to see if they have a matching brake handle. I wanted the Mazdaspeed Bathurts R set but maybe I can just get a Mazdaspeed sticker for them and save a few hundred $ "lol".
