rats nest removal question.
Finally down to the rats nest. Now exactly whch screws do I need to remove in order to take the rats nest out. Some pics would help too

When I was tearing down my engine, I found it easiest to remove the bolts that hold the entire tube rack. There's really only three of them, and they all lie under the coil pack. Working on pics here...

Post whoring as usual...
Here are some pics of the things I ran into with the hose replacement. Just some potential tips on routing and what not.
And no I didn't put tie wraps on EVERY connection. Vacuum hose connections suck themselve on tighter. Pressure connections were tie wrapped.

I took of the bolts in spurvos pic, then realized I'd ahve to disconnect the fuel lines to get it off that way. So, I got the srews out on the front side of the rats nest, but I dont' see how one is suppsoe to get the ones ont he firewall side off. There is no room to get a screw driver back there, unless I use stubby, 90 degree, or a bit on wratchet, all wiich will want to strip the screw.

AMEN. I did that job last month...it sucked. I took out the whole rats nest. Use the 3M weatherstrip adhesive as mentioned elsewhere to secure the hoses. I thought it would cook w/ the heat and be useless, but did it anyway. After quite a few heat cycles, I checked some of the hoses and they are VERY hard to pull off. Just my 2 cents.

hey dude before you do anything else dont touch any screws on the side of the rack all you will do is strip them, i was told by ray at PFS that i should just rovmove the fuel lines and it should just come out and damn if it didnt it if wasnt for hime i would be **** up the creek so hope this works
