ran out of gas

i have a 93 rx7 and i stupidly let it run out of gas. Now the car won't start. Does anyone have any advice besides don't run out of gas.

it will take a little while to get the air out of the system so you may need to jump the battery, also won't hurt to add some lubricant to the intake runners to keep the seals lubed since they likely are fuel washed now from extended cranking.

just hope you were't under hard boost when it ran out of fuel...

It basically sucks to run out of fuel in a modern fuel-injected car. It will take time to get the air out of the system and fuel flowing.

(Sorry but I had too. This is one of my biggest pet peeves about driving. How can you not be aware of how much gas you have left in your car? Hope you learn something from this mistake)
