Ran out of answers, looking for help
Hello there everyone, I've been having some trouble with my FD, hoping someone here might have some answers.
When I turn the ignition two clicks forward to start the car, I notice that the fans come on right away. Car cranks but won't start. After about 5s of the car in the 'on' postion I get about 6 relays going haywire(you can hear them going crazy). The relays are the Circuit, Air Cond., Fan, B202 and B203 fan relays(on the left side), and the fuel pump relay(I have done the re-wire of the fuel pump with direct power fromt he battery). Not only that, my Power FC reads "Communication error" on the commander when in the on position.
Now, if I unplug the commander and plug it in again, it works. With the commander working I can see that all the sensors are reading fine with appropriate voltages.
When switching out the power FC for a Petit reflashed ECU, or the factor ECU, the only things that changes is that the relays don't go bonkers, but the fans still come on and cranking, but no starting.
I should mention I had the best Rx7 tuning and electronics, and all around good guy (Marco [the wird]) trying to diagnose this for hours on Sun with no luck, but we were able to localize the problem to the wiring harness somewhere on the drivers side.
The vehicle is no where near stock anymore, with a Garrett GT3582r and all the mods associated with this turbo and the upgrade.
There was no prior warning, or no indications of anything wrong prior to this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Tony

I have not, but we did try to touch move, and look at the harness's as fas as we could. I'm not saying it's not possible, but there is no rubbing of the tire in the wheel well, the car has never been in an accident, and it doesn't get driven in the rain. But I will look into that. Thanks for the input.
