Angry Radio antenna coax wire

Has anyone replaced the coaxial cable from the radio to the rear antenna? While re-positioning my PFS PMC, I drilled a hole through the carpet into the transmission hump area without checking what was underneath. Yeah, I know- dumb! But how many times have you done this and lucked out. This time I apparently drilled right into the radio cable, also right at a spot where it was fastened with a plastic clip, otherwise it would have probably squirmed out of the way of the drill bit. The radio reception went bad after this. I finally pulled up the carpet from the passenger side and saw the hole in the cable. Removing the sheet metal screw from the hole helped a little, but I suspect I cut most of the inner wires. Is the carpet split under the center console, or is it one piece from door sill to door sill? It really is stiff carpet and can't be pulled out of the way easily to get at the cable. I'm hoping someone has a suggestion.
