Radiator upgrade

I am considering on upgrading my R2 and trying to decide which is a better choice of cooling for the extreme. FLUIDYNE or PWR, according to rx7store.net they use PWR on there own cars. I havent really heard anything about PWR other then the fact that it looks IDENTICAL for FLUIDYNE. Anyone running PWR with no problems on the track??? Or should i still with the all popular FLUIDYNE.

IMHO anything other than stock, as long as it is made of aluminum without the plastic end tanks will be just fine, KOYO, Fluidyne or PWR..

You can find a lot of little details by reading, but essentially the PWR and fluidine are identical, and the KOYO hold more volume. Fitment issues are kind of different from person to person, as a lot of people vert mount them.

I have had a PWR on mine for about a year. Fits great and super on my almost daily driver. Couldn't tell you about the track.

I have a koyo, and it seems to be working fine. My water temps stay around 180-190 all the time. The thing is huge.

Not to steal the thread, but the Fluidyne is 50% larger and the Koyo is 100% larger, do you see cooler temps with the koyo over the Fluidyne?

supposedly theyre abotu even as the fluidyne flows better and the koyo is of larger capacity. just depends on what you want and need.

GReddy just recently (3 months ago or something) released a full alumi radiator for the FD's.

Got a link, RedR1? The only ones on their site are for Nissans.

Just to add to the mix...I recently spotted this. Cheaper than Fluidyne, PWR and Koyo, expecially with free shipping, and looks to be better than average for Ebay stuff.

I haven't seen a PWR radiator for the FD firsthand but overall PWR makes excellent products.

I have the PWR and I really like it. I have not tracked the car with it yet, so I can't provide temp data. It was not a direct drop in for my car, but was not that difficult to install. The overall quality of the radiatior is very good.
