radiator opinions needed

So I am getting ready to buy a new radiator and, I am considering the radiatorworld race radiator . I have already done the searches and realize that there will be fitment issues, but for the people that have tried it ,how has it faired in cooling overall so far . I don't track my car but there is some very spirited driving involved. I am more or less considering this as a cheaper alternative to a fluidiyne. ( Then I can afford WI also)

If you don't track your car, any radiator will work fine, even the stock one.

I can vouch for their STOCK-replacement radiator being an outstanding unit that works MUCH better than the Mazda factory one. I am very pleased with it.

I have the radiatorworld race aluminum radiator. Its really big and good qualitly. I have never been able to compair it to a fluidyne or koyo so i cant tell you if its better or worse. But for the money i am very pleased with it. Its not in the car yet so i cant tell you how good it fits.

Can you actually see the difference after installing these aftermarkets in lew of stock?, I mean for you guys with computers that actually give you water temps.

Water temps are controlled by the fans and thermostat, until the capacity of the radiator is reached. This should not happen except in the most extreme conditions. So, no, you will not notice any temp differences in any kind of typical street driving. Anyone who claims temp differences on the street is either lying, wrong, or they improved their cooling system in the course of installing the radiator (new thermostat, fresh coolant, etc).

The unit I got was just obviously superior to the stock Mazda unit, first of all it is all-metal construction, secondly it is thicker, and lastly I notice that the new unit exchanges heat far better than the old stock one, which admittedly may have been about half plugged...
I can bring my car in from a drive, leave it idling and after the fans come on FEEL the difference from upper to lower side as the radiator does its job. Yes, ANY radiator will do that, but after having the stock unit which I feel is just barely adequate for the job, the new replacement is just AWESOME!

What someone really needs to do is to compare apples to apples, meaning take a car with a stock unit and drive around in various conditions, and log the temps. THEN install different radiators in the car and do the exact same drive under the exact same conditions, and log the temps and then compare.

As rynberg stated, unless you are doing something that just simply exceeds the cooling ability of your radiator, it is hard to make a blanket statement of, "This thing cools SO much better than stock....". But obviously if you were having a lot of overheating problems and then with a different radiator and it fixed the problems, it is worth it.
