"Radiator Hose" w/ Greddy FMIC What Are My Choices?
Ok, so I have been browsing around on the forum since lastnight trying to figure out what everyone else did who went with a FMIC and had to relocate the radiator. Aparently the stock hose wont work. My question is, what will? I don't think there are any prefromed hoses for the upright radiator setup. What hose did you go with if you have the Greddy FMIC setup...BTW does the lower rad hose need to be replaced too?
Thanks
Thanks
If you bought the FMIC new as a kit it will have everything you need for your radiator hoses. Mine came with some metal bends that I spliced into the rubber hoses and it works awesome. If you didn't get those part, I don't know what to tell you.

Im not about to use a connector, that's just another seam to inevitable go wrong and leak. And I can't get a super long upper rad hose cause it wont allow me to make the bend I need to get to the pump housing. And I don't wanna kink it. I need that greddy piece.
I used Earls Flexible metal hoses for my V-Mount.
They've seen 3 years of hard use with no issues.

The Greddy Kit just has a 90 degree pipe and a small straight pipe for the radiator hose modification. I think its 1.5" (but verify).

^^^ Look for something like this. Its a 1.5" 90 degree aluminum mandrel bend. Once you chop the legs down to size, you could probably use a piece from that to make the straight section.

I might try the flex hose. I really hope those hold up well. I hate anything flexible.
