CT Radiator Fans wont shut off need help

I recently purchased my fourth FD and have been having an issue with my radiator fans. 90% of the time after I shut it down the raidator fans stay on. I don't mean for a few minutes, I mean until the battery is dead. I have resorted to popping the hood after shutdown and removing and reinserting the fuse. This seems to kill the radiator fans. Has anyone had this issue before? If I had to guess I am thinking a temp sensor, a relay or the ecu. Looking for a specific solution. Any help would be appreciated.

First thing you need to do is see which of the 4 cooling fan relays are active while the fan is still running. See page Z-40 of the 94 wiring diagram

Either bad:
fan relays
fan black control box
thermoswitch (stuck closed)
ecu water temp sensor or wiring
if car is an auto (trans ecu)

Given the fact it doesn't happen every time what does that indicate?

It indicates one of the above is intermittently having an issue. Could be a loose wire, could be a relay with rusty internals, could be pretty much anything. If you read that section of the manual, get out a multimeter and start testing things it's not that hard to diagnose. There are only 4 relays. 1 for the thermoswitch, 2 from the ecu, and 1 from the A/C. Narrow it down to 1 of the 4. When it does it again, go under the hood and pull each relay until you get to the one(s) causing the problem. The brown one is for the a/c.
