radiator fans wont shut off
when the car is switched into "on" mode, they go off. when the key is removed, they go on, and dont shut off until the battery is dead. i searched but everyone elses is related to modded stuff. my car is completely stock.

I am not sure if your model is the same as the Australian but on our there are 2 fans and 1 operates with the airconditioning and the other is engine temp. check the fan relays.

something's grounded out, they always have power. Check the fan relay connectors and relay box.
The manual fan switch mod does just this, grounds it out so they stay on.
Check this:

That should help you as far as where or what to look for...

A few months ago, I researched how the relays work. It turns out that some of them have power only when the car is turned on, and some always have power, even when the car is turned off.
This thread might help you out, especially the last post written by me:

If you don't already know how to use a multimeter to measure voltage, you might want to learn that first, or get help from someone who's already familiar with how electricity works.
Good luck,
