what exactly is the 'FILLER CAP' what does it do? is this the 'second radiator cap'? can u tell me all the info because i need to buy this, and i can't read whats on it because its in japanese.

the FILLER CAP im talking about is the one where the thermostat is.

 

the filler cap is a cap that covers the filler neck (where you fill the coolant up). The other cap is the pressurized cap on the AST tank, it keeps the cooling system pressurized to a certain pressure and lets air excape out of the cooling system...hence air separation tank (AST).

 

How do you know that you need to buy it if you don't know where it is, or what it does??????

theres a guy that told me that i needed to replace that cap, he said the rubber in it is messed up and need a new one to avoid overheating??>....

 

Since HE told you that it needed to be replaced, did it occur to you to ask HIM where it was, and what it did ........... since this is so "URGENT"???
