Racing Beat Oil filter sender adaptor installed <pics>

My CD player died, so i decided to yank the stereo and put gauges in there. I decided on the racing beat adaptor to mount the senders for my oil temp and pressure gauges. Piece is very well built, installed very easily. The only downside is that i think i will now have to remove the elbow to change the filter. I haven't tried removing/installing the filter with the elbow in place yet.

Nope, but you will have to pull the TPS Harness and push up the fast idle cam out of the way. It's a PITA.

does the respeed mount require removal of the TPS harness since it replaces the stock pedestal?

that's what i ordered originally actually, but in my zeal to get it, i didn't notice that it would need a bung welded for the oil line, and i didn't feel like dealing with that so i sold it to an FC track buddy.

This works pretty well, however now i'm having problems with the oil pressure gauge, not sure if it is the sender or the connection. It worked on first fire up, then died. Hasn't worked since.

What pedestal are you referring to? I have the Respeed one and did no welding what so ever.

Respeed as long since fixed their issues with the pedestal. I ordered mine before the -10 line was available, however I probably still would have stuck with the banjo fitting. A friend of mine who is an engineer said he preferred the banjo fitting instead of the AN fitting for a few various reasons (as I could have used and adapter and replaced the banjo without the direct -10 fitting on the pedestal).

I know this is slightly from the dead, but does I wasn't aware that the RB adapter fit on the FD pedestal?

This is for this one, right? http://racingbeat.com/resultset.asp?PartNumber=11803
