Do they sell the hardware to mount it?. I got a used r1 bar for around 80 plus shipping but it didn't come with mounting pieces on the side to mount where the suspension bolt goes. Only the bar itself

No... you bought a replacement bar for existing mounts. The trick though, having the mounts is a pre requisite to justify the purchase. You're stuck. Going to have to buy another bar or get super lucky and find someone selling just the mounts
Years ago when these cars were still relatively cheap, seems I used to see a lot of those shock tower bars rattle-canned into oblivion by some kid for reasons known only to them. Be great if you could find one of those. Even abused end-brackets should be easy to restore.
hard to say without doing the leg work of reverse engineering them, but laser cut parts are fairly cheap, and I'm not here to make money off people. What it costs me is what it'll cost you.

Well not like I'm in a rush. Car won't be up and running for awhile. Unless I win the lotto
wonder if there was any changes from different versions
There were Three. The R1 bar, FD03-56-48ZA. its Red with one end being adjustable. in the US it came on the 1993 R1, although we did sell a few over the counter as an accessory. it was almost $600 too
,
Number 2 is the R2 Strut Bar, F111-56-48Z. in the USA it came on the 1994-1995 R Package cars. its the same Red, but the adjuster is deleted
and then the Third one is F132-56-48Z, from 1996 onwards. i don't have a pic, but it appears to be the R2 bar, but in black
