Just Call Mazda and Ask

Why not give Mazda a call and ask them if the car came from the factory as an "R" model. Mazda customer service in the USA is 1-800-222-5500. Give them the VIN and ask what model this is. Should be simple enough.

You seem to be skeptical about this car and the seller, so make sure you have the correct VIN that YOU read from the vehicle AND the title. Don't rely on anyone else to tell you what the VIN is.

did any rx7s with factory sunroofs have a sliding screen? i have had two 94s with the glass sunroof and neither had a sliding screen, the glass is kinda tinted but no screen.
