Thumbs up Quick tip - engine transport handles

So for you weirdos like me that end up moving engines around more than once in a lifetime, here's a quick tip.

I made a few of these ages ago and gave out a set recently so I needed to order more. Basically it's just 2 bolts with a rubber grip over it.

Take the bolt, shove it head-first into the rubber grip, screw 2 of them into the top transmission holes of the rear iron. If you have a short block with the studs for the water pump housing sticking out of the front, you now have handles on both sides of the engine and it can pretty easily be carried by 2 people. Without the handles on the back it's a real pain in the butt. This also helps for lifting an engine into/out of a shipping crate.

The bolts are a pack of 5 and the grips a pack of 6 so you end up with an extra grip.

Simple thing but it's one of those tools that makes it SO much easier if you need to move a short block.
