Question Quick Time bellhousing?

In a never ending chase of perfection building this FD, safety is also a concern. Quick Time makes a bellhousing for the 13b -> t2 trans, anyone know off hand if this also works with an FD trans?

The TurboII and FD both use the Type R transmission. It's VERY possible it would work but I'm not positive.

And DEAR LORD that thing is EXPENSIVE!

It would bolt to the engine. The TII uses a push clutch and the FD is pull, so the hydraulics are completely different. They also do not use the same starter.

Goopy makes a scattershield that fits on/over the stock FD bellhousing. It's a bit clunky but it does work. It's made from 1/4 steel plate IIRC.

Last email I had with them last year they were $499ish, but still available.
