Quick rats nest question...

I'm still waiting on silicone hose, but can I put the engine back in, then put the rats nest in afterwards? Or will it be quite tricky with the engine back in?

thanks in advance.

I would say it would be easier to do the hoses while its out. You wouln't be able to start the engine with out the vacum hoses anyway so theres no real point to put it in now.

The main reason I was asking is that I'm hiring a hoist. Obviously the longer I hire it, the more I pay!

Is it possible to put the rast nest back on the block relatively easy enough when it's back in the car?

thanks

you will have a much easier time with the engine out. some of those hoses are not easy to get to when your leaning over the fender!!

You can do it with the engine in the car. Just be sure to put all vacuum lines in place that go into the LIM and block before you put in the fuel rail.
